DISCLAIMER

Breathwork may not be suitable if you have the following conditions:

  • Pregnancy
  • Detached Retina
  • Glaucoma
  • Uncontrolled High Blood Pressure
  • Cardiovascular Diseases (e.g., angina, previous heart attack or stroke)
  • Diagnosis of aneurysm in the brain or abdomen
  • Uncontrolled thyroid conditions and diabetes
  • Asthma (Please bring your inhaler)
  • Epilepsy
  • Prior diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or previous psychiatric conditions
  • Hospitalization for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis within the last 10 years
  • Any other medical, psychiatric, or physical conditions that would impair or affect your ability to engage in activities involving intense physical and/or emotional release.

This list is not exhaustive. If you have a condition not listed, we recommend consulting a physician before starting breathwork. If you have or have had any of the listed conditions, we strongly recommend consulting a physician before starting breathwork.

 

WAIVER

By reading this waiver, you agree to take personal responsibility for your breathwork process. This practice is not a substitute for medical advice. The facilitators cannot be held responsible for any mental, physical, or emotional challenges that may arise from this work. The Breath Code takes no responsibility for any injuries sustained as a result of participating in these sessions. Thank you for taking care of your well-being by listening to your body and respecting these guidelines.

 

RELEASE AND WAIVER

I, the participant (“the Releasor/attendee”), understand and acknowledge the following:

  • The Breath Code’s sessions are not intended to replace any relationship I have with my medical doctor and/or primary healthcare provider(s).
  • The sessions are not intended to constitute medical advice or any substitution for medical care.
  • The sessions are not intended to be relied on for prescriptions, recommendations, diagnosis, or treatment in relation to any health problem or disease.

I certify that:

  • It is my responsibility to consult a health professional regarding any physical, mental, or emotional condition that could interfere with my judgment or affect my health during or after any session.
  • I am responsible for consulting my healthcare provider or doctor if I have or suspect I am suffering from a health problem.

I understand and acknowledge that:

  • My participation is at my own risk.
  • The stories or testimonials presented do not constitute a warranty, guarantee, or prediction regarding my experience.
  • The Breath Code makes no warranty, guarantee, or prediction about any particular state of awareness or consciousness during or after any session.
  • My participation does not establish a client-practitioner relationship or any other type of therapeutic or professional relationship between me and the facilitator.

I agree to assume and accept full responsibility for any known and unknown risks associated with my participation in any session, including any physical injury, psychological or emotional effects, death, loss, or property damage. I release and discharge The Breath Code and its practitioners, officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, or liabilities whatsoever, known or unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, suspected or unsuspected, arising out of or related to any and all sessions.

 

ACCURACY WARNING

This site and its components are for informational purposes only. We are not responsible or liable for the accuracy, usefulness, or availability of any information transmitted or made available via the site, nor for any errors or omissions in that information.

 

PAYMENT POLICY

Payments are accepted via Square, bank transfer, or cash. Any additional service charges or fees for using third-party payment methods are the sole responsibility of the customer.

 

BOOKING CANCELLATION POLICY

For Workshops, Private Sessions, and Events:

  • If a client cancels within 48 hours of the session/event:
    The full amount is forfeited, and no refund will be issued.
  • If a client cancels more than 7 days before the session/event:
    The client will receive 50% of the ticket price back.
  • Late Cancellation or No-Show:
    If a client cancels within 48 hours or does not attend the session/event, the full session/event fee will be forfeited.

Exceptions:
In case of a medical emergency or extenuating circumstances, please contact us immediately to discuss alternative options.

Cancellation by The Breath Code:
We may cancel or reschedule sessions/events due to unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, you will be notified promptly and offered a reschedule, class credit, or refund.

 

GIFT VOUCHERS

  • Expiry:
    Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. After 12 months, any remaining balance is forfeited.
  • Non-Transferable and Non-Refundable:
    Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded.

 

PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE

By attending any of our workshops, sessions, or events, you consent to The Breath Code taking photos or videos during the session. These images or videos may be used for marketing purposes, including on our social media platforms, website, and promotional materials.

If you do not wish to have your image or video used, you may submit a written request to us prior to the session or event. We will make every effort to honor your request, but please note that in some cases, images may have already been captured before the request is made.

 

SESSION START & END TIMES

Doors open 15 minutes before start time, and sessions always start and end on time. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the session.
The venue doors are locked while sessions are running, and unfortunately, late entry is not permitted. Late arrivals are considered a no-show.
We understand life happens, but we are unable to hold the session start time.

 

HEALTH AND SAFETY

It is your responsibility to inform the facilitator of any health concerns or conditions that may affect your ability to safely participate in breathwork activities. The Breath Code reserves the right to refuse participation if there are health and safety concerns.

 

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

In the event of a dispute, we encourage direct communication to resolve the issue. If an agreement cannot be reached, both parties agree to pursue mediation before considering legal action.

 

FORCE MAJEURE

The Breath Code will not be held liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.

 

CONFIDENTIALITY

Any sensitive personal or business information shared during workshops or sessions will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without explicit consent, unless required by law.

 

INDMNITY CLAUSE

By participating in any session, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Breath Code and its facilitators from any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising out of or in connection with your participation.
